Climbing Frames & Outdoor Play Equipment in Galway
The BERG PlayBase is a galvanised, powder-coated steel climbing frame with monkey-bar rungs on top. It comes in four sizes: the Wall (€999), which fixes to a load-bearing brick or block wall, and the free-standing Medium (€1,499), Large (€1,749) and Extra Large (€1,999). Every frame is 1m deep and 2.45m high, takes a maximum load of 400kg and suits ages 3+.
It is a modular system. Accessories hang from carabiner points, so you can start with swings, a trapeze or a climbing net and later add a pull-up bar, dip bar, boxing bag, fitness rope or resistance bands (fitness accessories are for ages 14+). Climbing nets and soccer target nets are sized to the frame, the platform and slide does not fit the Wall frame, and the hammock fits the Large only.
Free-standing frames are held by base sections buried in the ground, with no concrete. We do not offer an assembly or digging service, but we can refer you to an independent installer.
We deliver PlayBase climbing frames across County Galway, including Galway City, Oranmore, Athenry, Tuam, Loughrea and Ballinasloe. Delivery is free on orders over €300, with 48-hour delivery on models in stock, otherwise typically 7 to 10 days. Deliveries in County Galway are handled by Langan Couriers, our Pallet Network partner. For advice on which PlayBase suits your garden, call 091 423 369.
PlayBase FAQs
Does a BERG PlayBase need concrete?
No. Free-standing PlayBase frames (Medium, Large and Extra Large) are held by base sections buried in the ground, with no concrete. The PlayBase Wall fixes to a load-bearing brick or block wall instead.
Do you assemble the PlayBase?
We do not offer an assembly or digging service, but we can refer you to an independent installer.
How much space does each PlayBase need?
Allow a clear space of 4m × 3m in front of the Wall frame, 6m × 4m for the Medium, 7m × 5m for the Large and 8.5m × 6m for the Extra Large. Every frame is 1m deep and 2.45m high.
Do you deliver PlayBases to Galway?
Yes, across County Galway and the rest of Ireland. Delivery is free on orders over €300 (€11.99 under €300). 48-hour delivery on models in stock, otherwise typically 7 to 10 days.
